Elementis, a leading manufacturer of rheology modifiers and specialty additives for the coatings, adhesives, construction and related industries, announced its participation in PAINTINDIA 2026, taking place February 19-21 2026 in Mumbai, India. As one of Asia’s most important events for the coatings sector, PAINTINDIA offers a premier platform for manufacturers, formulators, researchers and industry experts to exchange knowledge and explore technological advancements shaping the future of high-performance and sustainable coatings.

This year, Elementis will spotlight its commitment to responsible innovation and sustainable formulation design as part of its “Adding Future” strategy. Throughout the event, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the company’s newest renewable, high-efficiency and performance-driven technologies designed to support the development of coatings that meet evolving performance, regulatory and environmental expectations.

Advancing Sustainability Through Renewable Additive Technologies

Elementis continues to invest in renewable, safer and more responsible additive technologies that help formulators increase the biobased content of their systems while maintaining — and often enhancing — key performance attributes. These developments reflect the company’s commitment to enabling the transition toward more sustainable chemistries without compromising efficiency, quality or production robustness.

As part of the technical program, Elementis will present:

“Adding Biobased to Your Formulation with Variable reNEWable Additives” 📅 19 February 2026 | 14:00–14:30 📍 Session 1 – W-B and B-B Coatings

During PAINTINDIA 2026, Elementis will present a range of advanced additive solutions that demonstrate its ongoing commitment to innovation, sustainability and formulation efficiency across coatings, industrial and construction applications.

HYPOMER MT-2550k delivers a premium matte finish with excellent transparency, consistent gloss across different film thicknesses, and enhanced scratch and chemical resistance, while eliminating dust-related processing issues. This makes it particularly suitable for durable, high-quality decorative and industrial finishes.

For architectural coatings, Elementis will highlight its sustainability-focused additive toolbox combining RHEOLATE® HX 6025 and NUOSPERSE® HIDE 1100, enabling up to 15% titanium dioxide reduction, delivering a 25% increase in spread rate, and contributing to a lower product carbon footprint — all while Unique chemistry, sustainable solutions

supporting strong hiding power and One Coat Hide performance.

In the construction segment, Elementis will showcase BENTONE®, BENAQUA® and DAPRO® additives for optimal flow control and stability in mortars and stuccos, alongside THIXATROL® PM 8058 and PM 8056, which offer robust thickening efficiency, excellent anti-sagging and anti-settling properties, and low-temperature activation to support energy savings and simplified processing in high-build systems for industrial coatings.

To support the growing demand for consistent colour performance in decorative coatings, Elementis will also feature RHEOLATE® CVS 16 and DAPRO® CVS 20, designed to significantly reduce post-tint viscosity loss — from 28 KU to just 3 KU — while enhancing NiSAT performance, ensuring universal base-colour compatibility, and improving overall rheological control and colour uniformity.
