Effective April 6, 2026, or as existing contracts permit, BASF will increase its price in North America for the following amines. The price adjustments are necessary due to increases in logistics and raw material feedstock costs driven by global petrochemical market pressures and impacts from the Middle East situation.

With approximately 300 different amines, BASF has a diverse portfolio of this type of chemical intermediate. Along with alkyl-, alkanol- and alkoxyalkylamines, the company offers heterocyclic and aromatic as well as specialty amines. The range is completed by an expanding portfolio of chiral amines of high optical and chemical purity. The versatile products prove themselves mainly to manufacture process chemicals, pharmaceuticals and crop protection products, as well as cosmetic products and detergents. They also serve to produce coatings, special plastics, composites and special fibers.
