The WiM Hall of Fame was created in 2019 by the Women in Manufacturing Association to recognize those who have made, or are making, significant contributions to the manufacturing industry while supporting, promoting, and inspiring other women in manufacturing.

Stein’s career in manufacturing spans more than 20 years. She is responsible for setting the strategic direction for Human Resources, Labor Relations, Medical Services, Workforce Development, Communications and Public Affairs by designing, developing, and implementing progressive and comprehensive programs to meet current and future needs of the Geismar site. As a member of BASF’s Manufacturing Steering Committee for North America, she provides counsel and leadership for the region’s strategy for the manufacturing workforce.

“Jolen Stein’s induction into the Women in Manufacturing Hall of Fame is a powerful recognition of her commitment to advancing manufacturing talent in our industry,” said Andy Gutaker, Senior Vice President and General Manager at BASF’s Geismar site. “Through her leadership, advocacy, and creation of programs like BASF’s TECH Academy, Jolen has helped shape our Company culture and inspired future generations to pursue careers in manufacturing. Her impact is felt far beyond our Company, and we are proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition.”

Stein and her fellow inductees were nominated by their colleagues and industry peers and selected by a judging panel of WiM Executive Committee Board Members. The inductees were chosen based on their significant contributions to the advancement of women in manufacturing.

“As we celebrate the 15th anniversary of Women in Manufacturing, we’re proud to announce the 2025 class of Hall of Fame inductees,” said Allison Grealis, WiM President and Founder. “The outstanding women in this year’s class have not only advanced excellence in manufacturing but have also paved the way for future generations through their leadership and dedication to building more inclusive workplaces. Their impact exemplifies the very mission WiM has championed for the past 15 years.”

BASF is a sponsor of WiM, providing its employees with free memberships and discounts for conferences, as well as other resources for networking, recruitment and professional development.

Stein and the rest of the 2025 inductee class were officially welcomed into the Hall of Fame during the 15th annual WiM SUMMIT, held October 12-14 in Chicago.
