AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings, the manufacturer of high-performance aerospace coatings solutions for aircraft worldwide, is preparing to launch a new color blending and distribution facility in Dubai. The strategic location of the new site will strengthen AkzoNobel’s ability to support commercial aviation operators, MROs, OEMs, and industry partners across the region, with locally blended and stocked coatings solutions tailored to individual customer requirements.

Serving as a regional hub for the Middle East, the new site is scheduled to be operational in Q2 2026. From Dubai, AkzoNobel will offer local blending of Aerobase, Aerodur 3001, Eclipse colors, as well as streamlined access to primers, topcoats and thinners held in stock.

Color blending at the facility will be supported by automated and precision control processes to ensure repeatable, reliable color accuracy in line with the standards applied across AkzoNobel’s global network.
