Aakash Chemicals and Dye-Stuffs, Inc. and Pritty Pearlescent Pigments (China) have agreed to an exclusive distribution agreement for marketing Pritty’s range of Iridesium industrial and Nacreium water-resistant grade pearlescent effect pigments in the U.S. The product offering includes several FDA compliant products and specialty color lines, including silver-white, interference, gold luster, iron, crystal and antique for coatings, inks and plastic applications. The partnership enables Aakash Chemicals to add effect pigments to their existing organic pigment and dye product range. Pritty now has the ability to maintain inventory in the two Aakash warehouses in Chicago, IL and Charlotte, NC and further work in collaboration with Aakash labs to develop customer specific matches.
