The website is now open for registration.

The website for the 57th Annual Lehigh Short Course is now open. The course, which will be held June 1-5, 2026 at Lehigh University, is led by course director Mohamed S. El-Aasser and course coordinator Debra Nyby of the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Lehigh University.

For the 57th year, this Lehigh Short Course will be highlighting 10 speakers (six from industry and four from academia), with extensive expertise in emulsion polymerization and latex technology, who will give 23 lectures covering a wide range of industrially meaningful topics.

In addition, participants and lecturers will gather in an evening session of Q&A to discuss technical problems facing the industrial participants.

The course outline and the order of presentations are designed to inspire and meet the needs of newcomers and industrial practitioners in the field of emulsion polymerization and latex technology. Lectures will begin with introductory materials and reviews and will progress through recent research results and industrial applications.

For example, this year there will be lectures on:

• The role of polymeric latexes in digital printing technologies, including inkjet, xerography, and 3D printing.

• Three highly regarded industrial scientists/engineers will give lectures on polymeric latexes for digital printing; latex particle size analysis; and factors influencing rheological properties of latexes.

A balance will always be maintained between the fundamentals and practical aspects of latex technology and applications

Please note there are discount rates for multiple participants form the same company, and there is a special early bird discount rate that is valid until March 1, 2026.
