Discussion will be presented by the Canadian Coatings Association and Orr & Boss Consulting.
October 28, 2025
By: David Savastano
Editor
On Dec. 4, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. EST, Dave Carey, CCA president and CEO, and Orr & Boss principal Doug Bohn, will sit down for a fireside chat to discuss the Canadian Federal Budget, to be tabled Nov. 4, 2025. The conversation will examine the budget through two distinct lenses — political and economic.
The political analysis will provide a high-level perspective on how the 2025 budget may influence Canada’s political dynamics, public policy priorities, and its broader implications for businesses, consumers and Canadians.
The economic perspective will focus on the fiscal decisions presented in the budget — evaluating their responsibility, sustainability, and potential impact on Canada’s economic trajectory. Discussion will also include implications for key industries, business confidence, and consumer activity.
As the year draws to a close and preparations begin for 2026, this session will equip CCA attendees with a clearer understanding of what lies ahead and offer informed insights into navigating the first half of the new year.
