WEG announces new investments in the United States as part of its growth strategy in the North American coatings market.

This includes the inauguration of a new coating manufacturing site and distribution center in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, as well as the opening of a new coating distribution center in Duluth, Georgia.

“These investments represent an important step toward the sustainable growth of our paint business in North America. By combining local production, specialized technology, and more efficient logistics, we are expanding our capacity to serve different industrial sectors with high-performance solutions,” said Rafael Guerreiro Torezan, Managing Director of WEG Coatings.

The new unit in Manitowoc will be dedicated to producing Heresite Protective Coatings technologies.

The operation strengthens the company’s coating business by incorporating high-value-added solutions for critical applications such as HVAC, oil & gas, and water treatment.

Complementing this, the new Distribution Center in Duluth, Georgia, expands the logistics structure of WEG’s Coatings Unit in the country, ensuring greater product availability, shorter delivery times, and proximity to key consumer hubs.

The new DC will serve as a strategic hub for the distribution of industrial coatings, anti-corrosive coatings, and solutions aimed at high-demand applications, directly supporting the commercial expansion of the operation in the United States.
